A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, informing them that the baby has arrived and that he is healthy and well, describing the successful at-home birth, assuring them that she is well and has been resting as much as possible, describing the baby's looks and size, asking them to pass along the news to Esther (sister), sharing that Steed and Esther have been delighted with their new brother, reporting that Morrell's mother's luggage finally arrived and thanking them for all the gifts they sent, and expressing how excited she is for them to meet their new grandson, George.
