A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, sharing that mail has begun to arrive regularly and that much of everyday life is returning to normal, describing the family's relocation to the Agricultural school on December 15th and their stay there through Christmas, discussing the departure of a number of families from the town and the arrival of a unit of around 200 revolutionaries at the Agricultural school, describing the family's evacuation on December 31st to Guaro and their return to Mayari on January 2nd, mentioning how busy they have been getting the church and clinic back in order, and giving an update on the children and the family's health.
