The proceedings include copies of the addresses delivered at the Columbia, South Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida, conferences, a historical review of the church in South Carolina and Florida, biographical sketches of leading members of the church, a list of bishops, a report on Allen University, a list of statistics in relation to "the progress of the negro of the Palmetto State", and an analysis of the church.
