A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, confirming that they received their letter from El Paso and wishing her mother a speedy recovery, sharing the current political situation including the fighting in Nicaro and that there are a good deal of soldiers in Mayari causing them to close the clinic until the elections are over, mentioning that the Agricultural school has been continuing classes and they have had decent attendance at Sunday School despite the conflict, giving an update on the children and her pregnancy, and discussing the weather.
