A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, giving updates on the children's development (Steed learning more Spanish and Esther's growth and behavior), mentioning that she made a large number of Christmas cards for relatives and baked cakes for their neighbors and local friends, asking how their New Year's was as the family and friends were rained out of their planned picnic, giving a short update on the clinic, thanking them for the photo, describing the local celebration of the day of the Kings, noting that they had their first Young Adult Class which Lois taught, and giving updates on the household.
