A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, thanking them for letting her know how the rest of their trip went, asking if they could pass along her thanks to Esther (sister) for the book on tropical medicine, describing Esther Louise and Steed's well being and development, mentioning a visit to the Milk family to celebrate their daughter Ann's second birthday, sharing some of the movies she and Morrell have seen recently (The Bigamist and The Rose Tattoo), and reporting on how their garden is faring.
