A letter from Lois to her parents, Donald and Elsie, describing their trip with the Milks to Santiago where they went shopping and visited the Catholic Shrine of El Cobre, telling about Morrell's trip to the Methodist fair in Baguanos, describing the raucous of the yearly carnival in town and her disapproval of the liquor interests supporting the carnival, discussing baking a cake with a woman from the women's society, sharing about the several baptisms Morrell performed in a church up in the mountains, and a brief update on the family's health.
