Historiated title page of Luther's Uom Missbrauch der Messen

A woodcut border on the title page of Luther's Uom Missbrauch der Messen printed in 1522. The border is composed of a single woodcut and depicts a male (?) and female siren flanking a blank crest (top), a man dressed in travelling clothes with a squirrel on his shoulder and a string of beads, possibly a rosary, in his hand (left), a man in a loin cloth and tall boots(?) drinking from a long-necked bottle (mead?) and holding a fist full of sticks while surrounded by bees (right), and two dragon- or eagle-headed ornaments flanking a crest with two towers, possibly a simplified version of the Wittenberg coat of arms (bottom).
